Getting started
Do I need to sign up or log in?
No. Open the workspace and start editing—no account or email required.
Which browsers are supported?
Use the latest Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox. Editing, preview, and PDF export work best on desktop.
Can I create multiple resumes?
Yes. Switch or create versions in the workspace. Each one is stored separately in your browser so you can tailor them to different roles.
Export & templates
Where is my resume data stored?
It is saved in your browser by default (localStorage). Clearing site data, switching devices, or switching browsers can erase it. Export a PDF when you finish.
How do I export an HD PDF?
In the workspace, click Export PDF, use the browser print dialog, choose Save as PDF, and turn off headers and footers so the full text is copyable and ATS-readable.
Will switching templates delete my content?
No. Templates change layout only. Name, experience, skills, and other fields stay intact. Compare styles in the template gallery.
Does the exported PDF have a watermark?
No. You get a high-resolution, watermark-free PDF ready for online applications and email.
AI diagnostics
How does AI diagnostics work? Do I need an account?
No login required. On the AI diagnostics page, check keyword coverage, layout length, and quantified language against common HR screening preferences. Prefer running it on your device.
Does AI read or upload my resume?
Diagnostics analyze the current workspace content on your device. Resume body text is not uploaded to CVMyJob servers. See the Privacy Policy.
Privacy & devices
Can I edit on a phone?
You can view and make basic edits. Full layout, template comparison, and AI suggestions work better on a computer.
How do I back up my resume?
Export a PDF after each draft. Export regularly before applying so clearing browser data doesn’t wipe your work.
Is data sent to a server?
Resume body text is not uploaded by default. The site may collect anonymous visit stats that never include resume content. See the Privacy Policy and Terms.
